In my art studio painting a roses oil painting on a linen panel titled "Joyful" because the palette and mood felt sweet and satisfying, in other words it felt joyful. I am on a journey to master my own style and voice through a higher power which guides me as I paint and create. I could not do this on my own. I give credit to God the ultimate creator.

I love mixing colors directly on to the panel or canvas. I truly enjoy the surprises I get when I mix direct to the surface of my painting. I am now limiting my palette for more cohesion and unity and I am loving it. I am also truly enjoying sticking with one subject currently, roses.
