Three White Roses 20”x 16”Still Life - this may be my first attempt on my journey to discover roses as my painting subject. I chose roses because what is not to love about  them? I get to hang out and smell these flowers and look at these flowers and absorb something so magnificently beautiful, for hours, as I am painting, a thing created by God - and by osmosis I feel I can absorb a bit of their beauty just by being in close proximity to them.

I titled this “Cotton Candy Roses” because that’s what they ended up resembling.
